This
Turn-of-the-Century, English Style Colonial, just North of
Fairhaven High
School, was built about the same time as Henry H. Rogers was
finishing
his spectacular Castle on the Hill. The outside of this Historical
home
has both stucco and shingles, with wide over-hung eaves, and
27 foot x
10 foot covered, front piazza.
Enter into the foyer with white pine floors and angled
staircase, to the living room with English Tudor windows,
wood- burning
fireplace, and beautiful maple floors. The formal dining room
adjoins
the living room, and has similar maple floors and ornamental
windows.
The family size, eat-in kitchen is nearby and has access to
both the basement
and side entrance. A half-bath is handy off the foyer. Upstairs,
there
are yellow pine floors, four corner bedrooms off the center
hall, and
a full bath with claw foot tub. The basement has high ceilings,
laundry
facilities, a workshop, and play area. The heating system
is Forced-Hot-Air
by gas. Gas also heats the hot water. There is town water;
sewer; and
100 Amp CB electrical service.
